After twenty years of homesteading, homeschooling, and running a home business on 10 acres in the Ozarks with my husband and six children, life had a monumental shift. Not only did most of the children move out, but my youngest got diagnosed with autism, and my husband and I are now divorcing. While many would pity me in this circumstance, I ask that you don’t.
God is making a way for me and my son. I sold half my land, mostly untouched land we used to pick dead wood for the wood stove, that the children played on, and the creek the children played in. It was a heart-wrenching decision, but health issues for my children, myself, and life issues all demanded I sacrifice that portion. I pray the new owners appreciate it as much as I did. I know that it can be a beautiful property with the right love and attention.
