I am currently sorting through old clothing and finding a bunch that no one owns here. To be clear they used to live here. They left behind these clothing many months ago and despite my best efforts to sort what belongs to whom…I can’t. So what can be given away will be and what can’t will be upcycled.
For right now, the sorting happens. Two bags have already been sorted through and found to contain a small amount of outsiders clothing. All that I have sorted is socks. Two bags of socks were sorted through. Now imagine if you had to sort and pair two bags of socks only to find one of them was not for anyone who lived in your home.
Annoyed? Sure. Angry? Nope. It’s good to cleanse things and remove them.
The socks I can not donate and will be removing from the clothing rotation will become dust rags, craft projects, or trash dependent upon how terrible their condition. Once I have the entire pile sorted and decided upon a fate for the socks, perhaps I will make a video and share it here.
